TERMS OF SERVICE

BOOKINGS:

Kindly note that all bookings will need to be done via the online booking system. WhatsApp communication will be limited to queries only.

When creating your user profile, please make sure that all the fields are filled in properly in order for us to provide the best possible service to you and your dog.

We operate Mondays to Fridays. Pick ups are done between 7- 9am am in the mornings and drops offs between 2.30pm -4pm in the afternoons.

We would love it if all daycare bookings for your dog’s upcoming weekly attendance could be booked by Fridays, but we understand that life happens and schedules change.

Bookings must be done 24 hours in advance to avoid late booking fees. Any late bookings will result in a $5.00 late booking fee. Kindly note that it takes a lot of our time and planning to accommodate late bookings or cancellations. Schedules and routes need to be redone each time.

When booking with us, we reserve a spot specially for your dog. Cancellations need to be communicated at least 24 hours before the time of pick up, or you will be liable for the day rate as per your booking arrangement.

COSTS:

Our daycare cost is $55.00 plus gst per dog per day and this includes the pick up and drop Off. Payment will be required before you can check out and confirm your booking.

ACCESS FOR PICK UP AND DROP OFF:

We will require set pick up and drop off arrangements so that we can safely and securely pick up and drop off your dog if/ when you are not home.

We have found that when keys are involved- it is best to have a lockbox somewhere on your property with a code that we have access to. Other options are door lock codes, alarm codes and/ or any specific access instructions like what area of the property to collect and leave your pet.

It is your responsibility to make sure the instructed area for pick up and drop off is secure and you accept that we cannot be held accountable should your dog escape the pick up/ drop off area.

We take great safety measures when handling the dogs and use slip leads to prevent them from being able to slip out while being moved from your property into the secure van and back.

VACCINATIONS:

Your dog(s) must have current standard vaccinations & flea treatments. Please upload  proof of the current above-mentioned documentation when signing up. A copy of proof of vaccinations will be required annually.

Should we notice that your dog has fleas, ticks or worms, for the health of the other dogs, they will be required to be treated immediately before they can return to daycare.

DOG HEALTH AT DOG MANNERS:

Because we are a small team and we are with your dog from day 1- we get to know them well and can tell when their energy is off, or they are not feeling well. Dog Manners reserves the right to not allow any dog into our care if the dog looks unwell, if we feel your dog requires professional medical care or for any other reason we feel fit.

As a required field in the enrolment process, we also expect you to let us know of any health issues your dog is experiencing.

In the event of your dog being unwell or injured we will act fast to stabilise them, contact you and take them to the nearest vet for treatment.

We take great care with health and safety procedures. Your dog is supervised 100% of the time by qualified dog handlers/ behaviourists, but accidents can happen, and Dog Manners cannot be held liable for any vet costs.

You accept responsibility for treatment costs and that we will proceed as the “guardian” of your dog in absence of being able to get hold of you.

You acknowledge and understand that there are certain risks involved in having your dog in the care of other people and in a Daycare environment with other dogs and that Dog Manners or its staff will not be liable for any injuries or illnesses resulting during your dog’s attendance.

Please note that dogs are still predators and remain pack animals. As much as we control the energy and their environment they play in- they are still animals and things can go wrong at any time.Things like pack fights can break out resulting in injury or death.

BEHAVIOUR:

If your dog(s) become a threat to our safety due to behaviour, a threat to other animals, or a general disruption to our service, we reserve the right to dismiss your dog from the facility and refuse further service.
